MOUTHWASH OR GARGLE
Wild sage leaves (10 parts)
Marsh rosemary (10 parts)
Spotted cranesbill root (6 parts)
Red oak bark (6 parts)
Goldthread root (2 parts)
Rhatany root (2 parts)
Cassia bark (2 parts)
Cloves (2 parts)
Boil 4 tsp. mixture in 1 pint water for 5 minutes; let stand for 10 minutes and strain. Add 1 tbsp. table salt. For inflammations and swelling, use every 2 to 3 hours. Dilute with water if too astringent.
